Tuna Melt Patties: Crispy, Cheesy, Irresistible!

These tuna melt patties are golden, crispy on the outside and melty on the inside, made with canned tuna, cheese, and pantry staples. Quick, kid-friendly, customizable, and perfect for meal prep!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna in water, drained
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise or cream cheese
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion or 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ⅓ cup breadcrumbs or almond flour for low-carb

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until well combined.
  2. Shape into patties (¼ cup each), flatten slightly.
  3. Pan-fry in a lightly oiled skillet for 3–4 mins per side until golden, or bake at 375°F for 15–20 mins.
  4. Serve warm with a side salad, in a bun, or on its own.
