- 1½ lbs ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
For Glaze:
- 2 tablespoons gochujang
- 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a loaf pan or baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix beef, oils, soy sauce, sugar, gochujang, garlic, ginger, vinegar, egg, and breadcrumbs until just combined.
- Shape into a loaf and place in the pan.
- Bake for 35 minutes, then brush with glaze.
- Bake an additional 10 minutes or until internal temp is 160°F (71°C).
- Rest 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish and serve.
