Ingredients

  • lbs ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

For Glaze:

  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a loaf pan or baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix beef, oils, soy sauce, sugar, gochujang, garlic, ginger, vinegar, egg, and breadcrumbs until just combined.
  3. Shape into a loaf and place in the pan.
  4. Bake for 35 minutes, then brush with glaze.
  5. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until internal temp is 160°F (71°C).
  6. Rest 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish and serve.
