For the Strawberry Filling :
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

For Frying & Coating:
- 3 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
- ½ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough : Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and mix. Gradually add flour and salt. Knead until a soft dough forms, then let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
- Shape & Proof the Donuts : Roll dough to ½-inch thickness, cut into circles, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Fry the Donuts : Heat oil to 350°F (175°C), fry for 1-2 minutes per side until golden. Drain on paper towels and coat in sugar while warm.
- Prepare the Fillings : Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Cook strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice; thicken with cornstarch.
- Assemble the Donuts : Use a piping bag to fill donuts with cheesecake filling, then add strawberry filling.
