  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cheesecake Filling :

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Strawberry Filling :

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 1 tablespoon water)

For Frying & Coating:

  • 3 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough : Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and mix. Gradually add flour and salt. Knead until a soft dough forms, then let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
  2. Shape & Proof the Donuts : Roll dough to ½-inch thickness, cut into circles, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  3. Fry the Donuts : Heat oil to 350°F (175°C), fry for 1-2 minutes per side until golden. Drain on paper towels and coat in sugar while warm.
  4. Prepare the Fillings : Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Cook strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice; thicken with cornstarch.
  5. Assemble the Donuts : Use a piping bag to fill donuts with cheesecake filling, then add strawberry filling.
