For the Cake:

- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup sugar (for the berries)
- 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional for Garnish:
- Strawberry syrup (for drizzling)
- Whole strawberries (for decoration)
Instructions
- Bake the Cake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), Whisk dry ingredients. Beat eggs and sugar until thick. Fold in dry mix and warm milk-vanilla blend. Pour into greased 8-inch pan and bake 25–30 mins. Cool completely.
- Macerate the Strawberries: Toss sliced strawberries with lemon juice and sugar. Let sit 15–20 mins.
- Whip the Cream: Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Assemble the Cake: Slice cake in half (optional), layer with cream and strawberries. Top with more cream, strawberry slices, and drizzle syrup. Chill before serving.
