Instructions

  1. Bake the Cake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), Whisk dry ingredients. Beat eggs and sugar until thick. Fold in dry mix and warm milk-vanilla blend. Pour into greased 8-inch pan and bake 25–30 mins. Cool completely.
  2. Macerate the Strawberries: Toss sliced strawberries with lemon juice and sugar. Let sit 15–20 mins.
  3. Whip the Cream: Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  4. Assemble the Cake: Slice cake in half (optional), layer with cream and strawberries. Top with more cream, strawberry slices, and drizzle syrup. Chill before serving.
