- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup (150g) packed brown sugar
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 cups (240g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1½ cups (225g) raisins
- Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking trays with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Stir in oats and raisins.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing evenly.
- Bake 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden and centers are soft.
- Cool for 5 minutes on the tray, then transfer to a wire rack.
