Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into thin cutlets)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
Salt & pepper (to taste)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Creamy Sauce:
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare & Sear the Chicken:
- Slice chicken breasts into thin cutlets.
- Dredge them lightly in flour, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil & butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sear chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove and set aside.
Make the Creamy Sauce:
- Sauté garlic in the skillet for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping up the browned bits.
- Stir in heavy cream, parmesan, and sun-dried tomatoes.
- Season with oregano and red pepper flakes.
Combine & Serve:
- Return chicken to the skillet, letting it soak in the sauce.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh basil, serve hot!
