- 8 oz noodles (spaghetti, fettuccine, or egg noodles)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons reserved pasta water (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions; reserve some pasta water.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Toss cooked noodles in the garlic butter.
- Add pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with parsley and Parmesan, if desired. Serve immediately!
