- 12 oz linguine
- 8 oz lump or backfin crab meat
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water (for loosening sauce)
Instructions
- Cook linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water, then drain.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic and chili flakes until fragrant.
- Add crab meat and lemon zest; warm gently without over-stirring.
- Toss cooked pasta with the crab mixture, lemon juice, and a bit of pasta water.
- Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm.
