Dough Base Options
- 1 lb pizza dough
- Puff pastry or crescent dough
Buffalo Chicken Filling
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- ½ cup Buffalo wing sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Cheese & Dressing
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup crumbled blue cheese or shredded cheddar
- ¼ cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
Seasonings & Extras
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ cup chopped green onions or celery
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven & Prepare the Dough : Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
- Prepare the Buffalo Chicken Filling : In a bowl, toss shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, melted butter, and seasonings until evenly coated.
- Layer the Ingredients : Spread the Buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the dough. Sprinkle mozzarella and blue cheese on top. Drizzle with ranch or blue cheese dressing for extra flavor.
- Roll & Seal the Stromboli : Carefully roll the dough into a log, starting from the long edge. Pinch the edges to seal tightly. Place seam-side down on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake to Perfection : Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with garlic powder & paprika. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Slice & Serve : Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra Buffalo sauce and ranch dressing for dipping.
